National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) Business School (NBS) held its 10th undergraduate and postgraduate convocation at the varsity’s main campus on Wednesday. Serena Hotels South and Central Asia Chief Executive Officer Aziz Boolani was the chief guest at the the 10th NUST Business School Convocation.

In his address, the chief guest appreciated the students, parents and faculty for their immense hard work and dedication. He urged the graduates to have faith in their abilities and embrace the challenges of life with a positive approach, and be passionate about their goals while keeping alive the spirit of inquiry.

Earlier, Rector NUST Lt Gen (R) Naweed Zaman, HI (M), highlighted that NUST was ranked at # 400 in QS World University Rankings and its Management programmes were ranked at 428th spot.

He said NUST aimed at enhancing its international footprint and the first milestone had been achieved with the successful inauguration of the NUST Science & Technology Park (NSTP), the first-of-its-kind in Pakistan.

For Master of Business Administration, the Gold Medal was awarded to Nimrah Chattha and Ayman Ather, while the Gold Medal for Master of Science in Human Resource was conferred upon Maheen Fatimah Hashmi and Adeel Ahmed Khan.

The Rector’s Gold Medal for best Business Research Project for Masters in Business Administration (2016) was awarded to Amber Fawad and, Rabia Arif (2017). Whereas, for Bachelors in Business Administration, the Gold Medal was awarded to Umama Malik.
