796 candidates participated in the Entry test for admission to the post-graduate degree program in different departments of Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tandojam, The Vice Chancellor visited and got a briefing about the arrangements.

A total number of 796 including 90 PhD candidates participated in Entry Test for admission to the post-graduation degree program, in the academic year 2022 of SAU, 6 blocks were formed for the test, in which 118 candidates participated for Masters and 4 candidates for PhD, for the Faculty of Agricultural Social Sciences, 126 candidates for Masters and 4 for PhD in Crop Protection Faculty, 269 candidates for MSc and 26 for PhD for the Faculty of Crop Production, 143 for MPhil and 47 for PhD in Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, and 50 candidates participated for ME and 8 for PhD in Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, during the test a large number of female candidates also participated in the test, 100 minutes and 100 questions paper was given for the test under the MCQs system.

Dr Fateh Marri, Vice Chancellor SAU visited different blocks during the test, and talking to the media on the occasion, he said that the Entry test was conducted in a very peaceful atmosphere and facilities were provided to the candidates.

He said that a large number of students are aspiring for admission to the University as there are vast employment opportunities for our graduates in the public and private sectors, he said that due to academic and healthy activities, the reputation of the institution as well as the quality of teaching and research has increased rapidly.

Appropriate security arrangements were made during the test, in which police and Rangers and the university’s security guards were deployed,

Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Jan Muhammad Marri, Dr Qamaruddin Chachar, Dr Aijaz Ali Khooharo, Dr Syed Ghiyasuddin Rashidi, Dr Altaf Siyal, Dr Manzoor Ali Abro, Director Advanced Studies Dr Abdul Mubeen Lodhi, Dr Aijaz Soomro, Dr Ziaul Hassan Shah and others were also present.
