A special package worth Rs 285 million has been allocated for universities in Balochistan, FATA and Gilgit Baltistan over and above their normal allocation for the upcoming financial year 2020-21, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has said. In a statement released on Wednesday, HEC said funding for FATA University had also been prioritized and its allocation had been tripled.
