A recent survey reveals that almost half the U.S. adult population does not consider college education to be “very important.”  Only 51% of the demographic believes that receiving a college degree is necessary. Whereas in 2013 the number was close to 70%. What’s interesting is that along with a decline in positive perception of college education there has been an increase in the number of people who consider college education to be “not so important.”

International students turn to university websites and not just its social media while checking out a particular varsity, reveals a latest research survey by the Uniquest (UQ). According to the findings of the survey published by The Pie News, the study found that almost 91 percent among the UQ’s partner universities consisted of stealth applicants- learners who apply to varsity without making any formal contact with its administration.

Spring Festival organized at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Ravi Campus Pattoki concluded with trophy distribution ceremony, on Tuesday. Various contests, including naat, qiraat, poetry, bait bazi, calligraphy, declamation, music, drama, still art, quiz and floral competitions were organized in the weeklong spring festival, 2019. Numerous students from different departments of the varsity participated in these competitions.

Indian universities increased their foothold in the Times Higher Education (THE) Emerging Economies University Rankings 2019, going up in number from 42 in 2018 to 49 this year.  According to data released by Times Higher Education (THE), Indian universities have shown remarkable improvements, with 25 of its universities securing a spot among the top 200, an increase from 17 universities in 2018.
