The Inter-Medicine University Board, consisting of vice-chancellors and rectors of medical varsities, on Monday, announced a uniform policy with regards to online classes and assessments in medical and dental colleges across the province in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was that medical students will not be promoted to the next class without passing the exams.

A seminar titled Clean and Green Pakistan was jointly arranged by University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and District Government Faisalabad at New Senate Hall UAF in which the speakers stressed that environmental degradation and climate changes were posing a serious threat to the lives of the people for which everybody must plant the saplings to ensure the clean breath , environment and green Pakistan.

The Virtual University of Pakistan has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Finnish universities to train one million students in disruptive technologies. The agreement was signed by officials from the Virtual University of Pakistan and Finland’s Kajaani University. Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiative Asad Umar was the chief guest on the occasion.

The year 2020, marks the thirtieth annual commemoration of Kashmir Solidarity Day. Every year since 1990, Pakistanis mark February 5 with various rallies and protests to express solidarity with their Kashmiri brethren and call on the world to let Kashmiris decide their fate as per UN resolutions that guarantee their right to self-determination.
