Gilgit-Baltistan Literary Forum, in collaboration with the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, hosts a conference for the promotion of the Broshski language.
It was the first Broshski conference held at ACPK to keep alive the language that was becoming extinct over time. The main purpose of holding the first Broshski Conference is to work for the development and promotion of our language like the Aalimi Urdu Conference. We have learned this language from our forefathers, and we are serving to keep this conference alive.
Well-known journalist and lecturer Minhaj Moosavi expressed his views while addressing the first Broshski Conference Auditorium II, organised jointly by the Gilgit-Baltistan Literary Forum and the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi.
He said that in the past, people were known only because of their regional languages, and literature and cultural events in the Broshski language have decreased, for which we are grateful to the President of the Arts Council, Muhammad Ahmad Shah, who founded the first Broshski conference. I helped us, and our hard work paid off. It is not possible to describe in words the services rendered by Ahmad Shah for Urdu as well as for all major and minor languages.
Dr. Muhammad Issa, Head of the Department of Linguistics at Skardu University, said that the foundation of the Broshski Conference is an important task, and for this conference, I would like to thank the young people who worked tirelessly to keep our civilization alive. reached
Renowned researcher Shahnaz Hunzai said that the holding of the International Urdu Conference, Faiz Festival, Broshski Conference, International Book Fair, and other conferences is necessary for the needs of our country. Social activist Rizwan Qalandar said that keeping our culture alive is an important task, and after the Broshski conference was held, it was realized that we should educate the youth so that they can continue the traditions of this conference.
Among those who spoke on the occasion were well-known Broshsky poet and researcher Brusho Dodok, journalist and poet Ali Ahmad Jan, Dr. Sadaf Munshi from the USA via video link, and Zafar Iqbal. I expressed my views on important topics, such as Brussky. Renowned folk storytellers Ehsan Ali (Nagar) and Mir Muhammad Khan (Hunza) narrated famous folk tales. A well-known scholar, Jesus, preached the gospel.
