AIT organized prize distribution for Project Exhibition

Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) organized the prize distribution ceremony for the project exhibition and awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for the projects with huge appreciation by the visitors and jury. Students of AIT put novel and innovative projects prepared by them on display at the exhibition.

For the exhibition, around 800 projects were received among which 300 were shortlisted on merit, while 24 projects secured the prizes. The Chief Guest of the event was Jawaid Anwar, Chancellor of Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET). Chairman Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE), Masroor Shaikh was also present on the occasion.

On this auspicious occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between AIT and Tang International Education Group of Modern Chinese Language Education and Training Cooperation (TCE). Tang has been adhering to the concept of serving the education industry by referring to business strategy rather than holding a business purpose. The company is always committed to helping people learn Chinese language and understand Chinese culture with the effort from all walks of life by involving Internet Technology, improving teaching and learning efficiency.

Director and Executive President, Tang International Education Group, Max Mark, said that Aligarh Institute of Technology is one of the best technical education institutes in Pakistan. It provides excellent facilities with experienced faculty members. We are very confident to collaborate with the institute, expecting a fruitful and meaningful collaboration with each other to benefit the students, especially those coming from low-income families.

Addressing the ceremony, Chancellor SSUET, Jawaid Anwar said that we are living in the era of technology. Artificial Intelligence has brought a revolutionary change in technological advancement.

Appreciating the efforts of students, he said that all ideas are adorable and students presented a fantastic array of diverse, innovative and future-orientated projects with impressive demonstrations. It shows their great talent and innovative skills.

Projects underlined the institute’s commitment to producing graduates capable of delivering a positive impact on wider society and most of the products are of national interest. Time now demands to develop strong relations with industry.

Expressing his views regarding FYP, Convenor AIT, Engr. Muhammad Arshad Khan said that the exhibitions and trade fairs provide a platform for the students to showcase their novel projects based on innovative ideas seeking new knowledge. The institute prepares students in a way that they would have the ability to adjust with the changing environment besides learning.

Principal AIT, Shahid Jameel, also spoke on the occasion and presented an overall picture of AIT progress and growth.
