His Excellency Mr Khalil Hashmi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, visited the University of Sargodha (UoS) today. The esteemed guest was warmly welcomed by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas and Director of External Linkages Prof Dr Ijaz Asghar.
During his visit, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas provided a comprehensive briefing on the university’s academic achievements and developmental progress. H.E. Ambassador Khalil Hashmi was given a tour of the university’s cutting-edge facilities, including the Waheed Wain Incubation Center, the TV training studio, and the newly revamped Wazir Agha Library.
Ambassador Hashmi commended the university’s efforts to enhance academic standards and produce highly skilled graduates. He expressed his admiration for the institution’s commitment to innovation and development. Furthermore, he assured his full support for future collaborative projects between the University of Sargodha and various Chinese universities and enterprises.
The visit marks a significant step towards strengthening educational and cultural ties between Pakistan and China, fostering greater cooperation and exchange in the academic field.
