Ambassador of Palestine Meets HEC Chairman

The Ambassador of Palestine to Pakistan, Mr Ahmed Jawad A. A. Rabei, met with Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Dr Mukhtar Ahmed, to discuss academic issues of mutual interest. The meeting focused on strengthening educational ties and enhancing support for Palestinian students pursuing higher education in Pakistan.

During the meeting, Dr Mukhtar Ahmed reaffirmed HEC’s commitment to providing extensive support to students from Muslim countries, including Palestine. He expressed his hope and prayers for the resilience and strength of the Palestinian people amid the challenges they face. Dr Ahmed emphasized the importance of education as a tool for empowerment and nation-building.

“The HEC stands ready to offer all possible assistance to Palestinian students,” Dr Ahmed stated. “We believe that by investing in education, we can help build a stronger future for Palestine.”

Ambassador Rabei expressed his gratitude for HEC’s unwavering support. He commended the Commission for offering quality higher education opportunities to Palestinian students, which he noted has been instrumental in their academic and personal development.

“The continuous support from HEC has been invaluable to our students,” Ambassador Rabei remarked. “We deeply appreciate Pakistan’s commitment to our educational advancement and look forward to further strengthening our academic collaboration.”

The meeting concluded with both parties expressing a shared vision for continued cooperation in higher education, aiming to provide greater opportunities for Palestinian students and fostering closer ties between the academic institutions of Pakistan and Palestine.
