All Sindh Education Department Lower Staff Association—Karachi chapter is planning to will hold a protest sit-in in front of the Karachi Press Club on Wednesday
The employees from grade 1 to 4 will also participate in protest rally to be organized from KPC to Chief Minister House today in favor of ASEDLSA’s 13 point demands.
The protest sit-in will be led by ASEDLSA Central President Wazir Ahmed Kario. As per the press statement, the association has invited other organizations including Primary Teachers Association, the All Pakistan Clerks Association, and Government Secondary Teachers Association for participate in the protest.
The association has demanded that time scale notification be issued for lower grade employees, the pay of 57 employees of 2012 closed for 53 months be released, clerk promotion should be increased to 50%, teaching quota of the educated lower grade should be raised by 20%.
The service of 2007 employees and educational increment closed since 2001 should be restored, special allowance should be given to all employees of grades 1 to 4, uniform allowance worth Rs. 5000 should be given, closed IDs should be opened under the guise of biometrics, the quota of employment and medical facility to lower grade employees should be given like other departments.
