Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, Khazar Nadir oglu Farhadov, visited Iqra University on Thursday.
Farhadov met with the Iqra’s Chairman and Founding Chancellor, Mr Hunaid Lakhani, and the University Vice-Chancellor, Dr Wasim Qazi. Mr Lakhani welcomed the Ambassador and said that Iqra University attached significant importance to greater cultural and academic ties between Iqra and Azerbaijan.
He informed the Ambassador that tremendous potential of cooperation existed between the two countries in various educational fields that needed to be capitalized upon for the mutual benefit of the two countries. Also present at the meeting was Mr Ahsan Mukhtar Zubairi, Secretary-General of the Pakistan Council of Foreign Relations.
