The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi on Tuesday resumed the Higher Secondary Examinations 2021 which were postponed due to lockdown due to the fourth wave of Covid-19.
As per the BIEK’s new HSSC exams schedule, exams of Botany Part II and Economics Part II were taken in the morning shift. No complaint was received from any examination center about the late delivery of question papers.
The BEIK Chairman Prof. Dr. Saeeduddin and other vigilance teams visited Bahria College, Karsaz and the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 6. He reviewed the examination process and the facilities being provided to the students at the centers along with the implementation of Corona SOPs.
He expressed satisfaction over the management of examination centers. On the occasion, Dr. Saeeduddin said that the intermediate examinations in Karachi are being conducted in a peaceful and transparent manner. No untoward incident has been reported from any examination center in the city.
In view of the rapid spread of the fourth wave of the Covid-19 epidemic, examiners, and students are strictly following the SOPs at the examination centers while the board officials are making sure social distance during the examination.
