Beaconhouse National University (BNU) and the Burki Institute of Public Policy (BIPP) have entered into a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to establish a framework for cooperation in addressing key political, economic, social, and governance issues pertinent to Pakistan.

Under this agreement, BNU and BIPP will combine their expertise to develop and disseminate research publications, organize events on both national and global topics, and offer training courses in governance, public policy, and information technology. A crucial component of this partnership is the facilitation of knowledge sharing through access to online libraries and other information resources.

The MOU signifies a significant step towards promoting high-quality research, informed policy development, and capacity building within Pakistan. The joint efforts of BNU and BIPP are expected to lead to a deeper understanding of critical issues and the creation of effective solutions for the country’s development.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Moeed Yusuf, Vice Chancellor of BNU, expressed his optimism about the partnership, stating, “This collaboration with BIPP will not only enhance our research capabilities but also contribute significantly to policy development and governance reforms in Pakistan.”

Dr. Shahid Javed Burki, Director of BIPP, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the importance of such partnerships in addressing the complex challenges facing the nation. “Our joint efforts will enable us to tackle pressing issues more effectively and provide well-researched policy recommendations to the government and other stakeholders,” he said.
