Cadet College Sanghar celebrates its 25th Parents’ Day

Cadet College Sanghar (CCS) celebrated its 25th Parents’ Day with the theme of SILVER JUBILEE PARENTS’ DAY. Luminaries from all walks of life attended the ceremony, including; Rear Admiral Mian Zakirullah Jan HI (M),Chairman Board of Governors & Commander Karachi, MNAs & MPAs and high ranking Civil & Military Officials. Honourable Syed Sardar Ali Shah, Minister for Education, Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, Govt. of Sindh was the Chief Guest of the programme. The event was conducted in strict adherence of COVID-19 SOPs.

An energetic contingent welcomed the Chief Guest with salami and Guard of Honour. Following that Captain Zeeshan Ali SI(M) PN, Commandant CCS welcomed the Chief Guest and presented the college report for the Academic Year 2021. The honourable Chief Guest congratulated the Commandant on organizing a wonderful event and praised his efforts in making the college a renowned educational institution. He added that despite its limited resources lack of funding and remote location, CCS provides modern training facilities and is progressing rapidly. Later on, the Chief Guest presented awards & trophies to the college’s outstanding performers and divisions. Cadet Ayaz Aleez and Cadet Asadullah clinched highest accolades of Stick of Honour and Badge of Honour respectively. Similarly, Allama I. I Kazi division won the “Champion Trophy”.

The Chief Guest then inaugurated grand architectural masterpiece, “FAIZ MAHAL ART GALLERY”, made by college’s engineering department on a self-help basis. He also witnessed and praised numerous Science Projects and portrayals of Arts created and presented by the cadets during Science and Arts Exhibition. All the guests enjoyed the remarkable show put up by the cadets during various segments of Silver Jubilee Parents’ Day.

The Chief Guest graciously announced enhancement of Annual Grant from Rs. 50 to 100 Million, Construction of a new hostel and 20 x family quarters for lower staff, provision of 500 million for endowment fund, and a bonus salary for CCS staff.
