Cambridge University Press has announced a new partnership with Digital Theatre+ that will help widen access to filmed world-class theatre for schools around the world, including Pakistan.
Cambridge University Press will begin the project across Pakistan from January 2020.
Digital Theatre+ is an innovative digital platform that brings filmed live theatre performances and an extensive range of specialist interactive teaching materials directly into the classroom. It was named “Best Arts Resource 2018” by ‘Tech for Teachers’, and shortlisted for “Best International Digital Education Resource” at the Bett Awards 2019.
Digital Theatre+ is the perfect addition to the Cambridge IGCSE™ and A Level Literature in English series, or any other study of classic and contemporary dramatic work – delivering a powerful package of interactive classroom resources to create the most engaging literature lessons.
“Our students can enrich their understanding of the texts we are studying by watching a wide range of adaptations and even engage with the actors through the many interviews and other resources available on the site,” and English teacher at the British School of Gran Canaria said of the resource.

This agreement will see Cambridge University Press connect teachers and students in Australia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, the Middle East and North Africa with the Digital Theatre+ platform.
