CISSS contributes to explain Pakistan’s correct strategic perspective

Dr. Muhammad Iftikhar, Director of Research at the Center for International Strategic Studies Sindh (CISSS) said that climate change in geopolitics has changed the world markedly in the last decade; he said that CISSS was contributing to explaining Pakistan’s correct strategic perspective. Moreover, he stressed that CISSS was focused on its objectives through visionary leadership and high-quality empirical research, and quality work.

He was addressing during an introductory session of CISSS to students and faculty members of Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) at Dr A M Sheikh Auditorium Hall, Dr Iftikhar informed them about their core research areas such as strategic stability, global power politics, climate change, nuclear energy, nuclear and agriculture, geopolitics, and peaceful purposes of nuclear energy.

Dr. Muhammad Iftikhar had a positive interaction with the students and explained how they could add value to Pakistan’s strategic and policy issues.

Prof Dr Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar, Director UA & FA, SAU Tando Jam welcomed the CISSS team and noted that this outreach was mutually beneficial as such would establish academic linkages and extend mutual cooperation.

He further highlighted that climate change is increasing day by day as visible-rising sea level water scarcity, severe heat waves, and stronger hurricanes have captured the attention of the international community, he added that soaring temperatures have provoked political unrest around the world

The seminar was attended by a large number of students of Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam.
