The MDCAT exam has been held annually across Sindh since 2017-18, with centers in Karachi, Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Sukkur, and Larkana. After the recent incident, the case has been escalated to the Sindh High Court to address security and procedural lapses.
Due to the leak, the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi has stepped back from organizing the MDCAT, passing the responsibility to IBA Sukkur. The rescheduled examination is set to take place within six weeks, giving officials time to implement enhanced security measures to ensure fairness and integrity for all examinees.
