CM Sindh to inaugurate two-day conference at SU

The University of Sindh in collaboration with Sindh Higher Education Commission is organizing a two-day International Conference on “Non-Traditional Security Paradigms of Pakistan: Options and Challenges” to be held on June 24 and 25.

According to the SU spokesperson, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah will attend the conference as chief guest and chairman Sindh Higher Education Commission Dr Asim Hussain will be guest of honor at the event.

The keynote speakers are from China, Malaysia, Islamabad and Karachi who will chair and moderate the sessions.

The inaugural ceremony of the two-day 1st International Conference on “Non-Traditional Security Paradigms of Pakistan: Options and Challenges” will be held at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Convention Center of the University of Sindh, for which the preparations have been finalized.

The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. on June 24. Dr. Ishrat Afshan Abbasi will deliver the introductory speech, followed by a keynote address by the professor of SZABIST Karachi Dr. Riaz Ahmed.

Similarly, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Dr. Zareen Abbasi will address the importance and usefulness of the conference. Afterward, SU Vice Chancellor  Prof. Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro would make his presidential remarks. Later, the chairman of Sindh Higher Education Commission Dr Asim Hussain will address the conference as the guest of honor. Similarly, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah will also address the event after formal proceedings of the conference.
