Concordia Colleges has joined hands with Google for Education’s partner, Tech Valley Pakistan, to award 500 scholarships to deserving students for the Google Career Certificates courses.

The Google Career Certificates is a suite of flexible online training programmes available on Coursera.org. These certificates, built and taught by Google, are designed to provide learners from all backgrounds with job-ready skills within six months (Can be completed quicker if learning full-time).
The MoU signing ceremony was held in the presence of Mr Umar Farooq, CEO Tech Valley Pakistan, Ms Nishwa Ibrar, Marketing and Communications Lead Tech Valley Pakistan, Mr Ali Raza, Group Director Beaconhouse Group, Mr Ayyaz Ali Khan, Assistant Project Director Concordia Colleges, Mr Usman Shafqat Chatha, Head of Academics Concordia Colleges, Mr Talat Bashir, Group Head Concordia Colleges, and Ms Ayesha Azhar, Manager Business Development Concordia Colleges.
The offered courses are highly demanded in the global job market and will help students prepare for professional life and contribute toward the economic growth of Pakistan. Concordia Colleges especially encourages female students and students from underprivileged backgrounds to apply for these scholarships.
The courses will serve as phase 1, where students will specialize in at least one programme, students who have completed at least one course will unlock a soft skills programme in phase 2, following which they will progress to phase 3, where students will be connected to national and international employers.
