A condolence meeting was held in the memory of Associate Professor of Jinnah Sindh Medical University and senior doctor of Medicine ward Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) Dr Mehmood-ul-Hasan Jafri at Najmuddin Auditorium of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre on December 9, 2021.

Acting Vice Chancellor JSMU and Executive Director JPMC Professor Shahid Rasul, alongwith other doctors and faculty members, reminisced his contributions and paid tribute to the Late Dr. Mehmood.

“I would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family of Dr Mehmood, who selflessly dedicated himself to the field of Medicine, and marked his contributions during the pandemic. His immense dedication will be missed by his students and his fellows,” said Prof. Shahid Rasul.

In addition, various doctors and professors at JPMC mourn the loss of Dr Mehmood, including Dr Shehzad, Dr Nosheen, Dr Omer. Dr. Mehmood-ul-Hasan Jafri passed away after contracting Dengue on December 7.
