Country Director ZOOM Pakistan calls on Sindh Education Minister

ZOOM Pakistan Country Director Hana Siddiqui and DTech Consultancy CEO Adeel Dayo held a meeting with Sindh Provincial Education and Culture Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah at his office here on Wednesday. Zoom Pakistan Country Director Hana Siddiqui told the Provincial Education Minister that Zoom Pakistan had issued 21680 free licenses by for online classes, which can be used for virtual education especially technical education, conference and meeting purposes.

She mentioned that D-Tech CEO’s role has been instrumental in the launching of the Zoom license.

She said that the number of users of Zoom has increased rapidly in Pakistan after covid19. She also informed provincial minister that Zoom will provide this facility for free to more professionals who work from home or students who want to continue online study.

Provincial Education Minister Sindh Syed Sardar Shah said that the education department of Sindh is also working on various projects related to distance learning or online education along with traditional methods. He further said that they intend to provide online platforms from which students can Easy find online lectures and syllabus. “During the times of covid19, the trend of virtual or online learning was emerged”. He further added that the education department aims to continue the teaching and training process with the help of Zoom and other online platforms. Provincial Education Minister Sindh appreciated Zoom and D-Tech’s initiatives and assured to work together.
