CUI Abbottabad Campus holds Job Fair 2023

COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) Abbottabad Campus organized a job fair at its campus, where 70 national and international companies and organizations participated.

Graduates of COMSATS participated in the event and gave interviews to companies for job opportunities and internships. The special guest at the event was Vice-Chancellor Pak -Austria University, Professor Dr Muhammad Mujahid, Director CUI Abbottabad Campus Professor Dr Muhammad Maroof Shah, professors, and heads of departments along with students were also present.

During his speech at the opening ceremony, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Mujahid said that this event provides an opportunity for COMSATS students to secure their future, which is commendable. The students of the eighth semester will have immediate job prospects after completing their education, which will eliminate unemployment. He emphasized that students should not only focus on traditional education but also pay attention to industrial and technical education so that industries can be promoted in the country.

Director CUI Professor Dr Syed Muhammad Maroof Shah stated in his speech that COMSATS is among the best universities not only in Pakistan but also in the world. Apart from providing quality education, the university has organized a job fair to provide job opportunities to students. He urged the students to make the most of the job fair and emphasized that the university administration will continue to provide such opportunities in the future for the benefit of the students.

Representatives of participating companies in the job fair stated that it is the best idea to provide internships and employment opportunities to the students. Companies have had the opportunity to choose candidates according to their standards. The students appreciated the initiatives taken by the university administration, and they presented various project ideas. Several companies offered jobs and internships to the students after conducting interviews.
