LAHORE: The District Education Authority (DAE) Lahore issued a show cause notice to the principal of Falcon School Data Nagar, Badami Bagh over non-compliance with the Punjab Health Department teams for typhoid vaccination for school children.
The Punjab typhoid vaccination drive will continue from February 02 to February 15.
The show cause notice reads, “The visiting officers reported that you did not follow the instructions issued by Health Department your school refused to vaccinate their students which is the clear cut violations of the Govt instructions hence, liable to be proceeded under Section 11 of the Punjab private Educational Institutions (Promotion and Regulation) Ordinance 1984.”
The school principal has now been summoned in person on 11-02-2021 at 02:00pm before the Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority.
Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department said that the children between the 9 to 15 years old are being vaccinated with the cooperation of UNICEF and WHO.
