Differently-abled students organise exhibition at ACPK

The differently-abled students of various schools of Karachi on Saturday organized an exhibition on handicrafts at the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi

The event was facilitated by the World of Art Organization to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities that was celebrated across the globe on November 25.

A large number of disabled people also participated in the event. A number of decorative items which were made by the special persons were placed in different stalls. The visitors lauded the work of special persons and students.

The students also participated in various competitions which included painting, pottery, and other crafts competitions.

The World of Art’s CEO Aliza Manim Qazi thanked the ACPK administration and said that the President of the arts council Muhammad Ahmed Shah has fully supported special students in organizing the event.

She said the purpose of organizing this program is to highlight that special persons have been blessed with special skills. We need to provide a platform to all the skilled special persons where they can portray their skills.
