Dawood University of Engineering and Technology also held 75th Independence Day celebrations in its main campus. The flag hoisting ceremony was held on the university lawn. After the recitation of the Holy Quran at 8 am, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Faizullah Abbasi waved the national flag.
After the flag hoisting, prayers were offered for the development and prosperity of the country and the nation and for the liberation of the oppressed Kashmiris from Indian domination.
The ceremony was attended by Pro-Chancellor Dr. Abdul Waheed Bhutto, Registrar Dr. Syed Asif Ali Shah and other officers and employees of the university. Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Faizullah Abbasi said that the blessings of freedom have come to us after the eternal sacrifices of our elders.
Participate fully in construction and development. “The Covid-19 epidemic has bound us to social restrictions that have caused the greatest damage to education. I urge everyone to get vaccinated against Corona and to adhere strictly to SOPs,” he added.
