DUET holds Orientation Day for Batch-2022

Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) organized Orientation Day for Batch-2022 Fall in University’s Auditorium. 1100 students admitted in Bachelors of Engineering (B.E), Bachelors of Architect (B.Arch.) and Bachelors of Science (B.S). A large number of new students enrolled in all departments, their parents, faculty members, teachers and students studying in the university attended the Orientation Day session.

Addressing the students and parents, Vice-Chancellor Dr Faizullah Abbasi said that Dawood University’s services in the teaching sector are enviable. Students have opened the way of better education for themselves by choosing Dawood University.

Dawood University has now entered a new era, social training is also important along with the education of the youth, it is also important to connect the brain wiring of the students in educational institutions to the heart so that they can serve the society better. Along with making them engineers and architects, they will also make them the best people in the society, Vice Chancellor added.

Dr Faizullah Abbasi further said that 75% attendance is mandatory in the university, without which the students will not be allowed to sit for the exams, the students have to increase their passion and dedication for the pursuit of education, this will not only give them progress. Rather, the prestige of the university will also rise.

Addressing the parents, the Vice-Chancellor said that monitoring the academic performance of the students is not only the work of the university, parents also have to do their duty, parents should stay in touch with the University for the Performance of their children.

On this occasion, University Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Waheed Bhutto, Registrar Prof Dr Syed Asif Ali Shah, Academic Coordinator Dr Dost Ali Khawaja, Deans, Controller, Chairpersons of all departments and other officials were also present.
