Education Minister Mansoor Qadir visits Sargodha University

Minister for School Education (SED) and Higher Education (HED) Punjab, Mansoor Qadir, visited the University of Sargodha (UoS) along with the Commissioner of Sargodha, Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti.

The guests were welcomed by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas, who briefed them about the academic progress and ongoing developmental projects at the University.

During the briefing, the Vice-Chancellor shared his vision to uplift the university’s ranking by improving its research output, increasing the number of research publications, and strengthening the university’s international collaborations.

Furthermore, the Vice-Chancellor shared his plan to bridge the gap between academia and industry, which is a crucial aspect for the growth and development of any university. He also emphasized the need for collaboration between the two sectors to promote research and innovation and to equip students with the skills and knowledge required for the job market.

The Minister for School and Higher Education appreciated the efforts of the Vice-Chancellor and the university administration in promoting quality education and research culture. He highlighted the importance of higher education in the development of any country and pledged his support to the university’s ongoing and future projects. The Minister also emphasized providing quality education to the students.
