ISLAMABAD: Federal Education minister and provincial education ministers are meeting at a National Command and Control Meeting (NCOC) on March 24 (Wednesday) to chalk out future course of action regarding opening or further closure of educational institutions.
Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood posted on his official Twitter handle, “The third coronavirus wave is serious; requires careful review. All education/health ministers will meet Wednesday March 24 at the NCOC to take a decision regarding opening or further closure of educational institutions. Health of students, teachers/staff primary consideration.”

It is pertinent to note that educational institutions are closed till March 28 in the wake of the third wave of coronavirus.
Recently, Shafqat Mehmood also got his first dose of vaccine shot and advised everyone to take precautionary measures and ensure social distancing to contain the deadly virus.
