LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Federal and Punjab education ministers paid tribute to Pakistani women on International Women’s Day.

Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood paying tribute to the women of the country said, “On this women’s day I first pay homage to my late mother whose caring and prayers made everything possible and then to all the women who enrich my life; my wife, my daughters, my sisters, my colleagues at work and in politics/media.”

Shafqat thanked the women of country for making the world a better place.
Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Federal Education and Pro Training Wajiha Qamar said that Pakistani women proved their mettle in every field of life and all efforts are being made to provide equal opportunities to women.
