LAHORE: Erstwhile FATA students protested in front of Governor House Lahore for the restoration of the admission quota in Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) on Saturday.
In a tweet posted by Mansoor Sahar, BS Physics Student at Islamia University of Bahawalpur (Punjab) said, “Today is our 14th day that we have set-up a protest in front of Governor House Lahore with to demand to restore reserve seats of ex-FATA in Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) and admit students who belongs to according to the notification óf Punjab Govornament.”

Pashtuns students also held a press conference for their rights along with MNA Mohsin Dawar at Lahore Press Club.
The students in their press talk demanded and urged the authorities in Punjab to restore the quota for erstwhile FATA (Federally Administered Tribal Area) students in Islamia University Bahawalpur, Government College University Faisalabad and Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan.
