FAPUASA Punjab observing Black Day in universities across Punjab today

LinkedIn
LAHORE: FAPUASA Punjab President Dr Abdul Sattar Malik and General Secretary Dr Ahtisham Ali have said that FAPUASA Punjab stands by FAPUASA KPK in the ongoing struggle against the problems faced by the Universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In their Joint Statement, they demanded that the Government should immediately withdraw the orders to reduce the allowances of teachers and employees of the Universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and that the provincial HEC Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should be set up immediately. They further said that in the light of the demands made to the government a few days ago from the platform of FAPUASA Punjab, the volume of the education budget should be increased and the scope of disparity allowance for teachers should be extended to grades 20 and 21.
They said that if the government does not stop interfering in the sovereignty of universities and does not give the legitimate rights to the universities of Pakhtunkhwa, the scope of the protest would be widened across Pakistan after observing this Black Day, and University teachers will do every effort to assert their legitimate rights.
