On the call of the FAPUASA Sindh Chapter, All the public sector universities of Sindh observed black day and voice their full support for the protest in Nawabshah. All Sindh Universities Employees Welfare Federation also joined the protest. The ASUEWF presiden, Qalandar Bux Bozdar voiced his concern on how the universities have been left in negligence.

Meanwhile, the Sindh Universities Officers Association joined the protests of FAPUASA. The SUOA president Farhan Lateef Memon said that it is unfortunate that Sindh government allocates a very meager amount of budget on higher education.

The leaders of all the associations reminded Sindh Government, that these public sector universities are for poor and middle-class students, and insufficient budget pushes universities to go for an increase in fees which hamper the poor to gain higher education.

It was unanimously resolved that all the stakeholders, teachers, officers, and employees shall widen their protest in coming days, and the next protest and press conference shall be held in Hyderabad and then in Karachi, and if the demands are not met, they shall organize a powerful sit-in at Sindh Secretariat in Karachi.
