FCCU Hosts Experiential Workshop on Inclusive Leadership

The School of Management at Forman Christian College (FCCU) held an impactful workshop titled “Leading with Inclusion,” emphasizing the principles of leadership, equity, diversity, and inclusion. The immersive event provided participants with experiential learning opportunities aimed at enhancing their understanding of inclusive leadership dynamics.

The workshop was conducted by the distinguished Dr Faisal Khosa, a globally recognized leader in equity, diversity, and inclusion. Dr Khosa, an accomplished medical professional and advocate, serves as the Chair of various international committees, including the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee of Doctors of British Columbia and the Diversity and Inclusion Publications & Presentations Workgroup of the American College of Radiology (ACR). With a legacy of delivering transformative leadership workshops worldwide and authoring numerous scholarly publications, Dr Khosa has also spearheaded philanthropic initiatives such as schools and free healthcare clinics for underprivileged communities in developing nations. His contributions have earned him accolades across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Pakistan.

The workshop was organized by Dr Afaf Khalid, Assistant Professor at the School of Management, and drew notable attendees, including General Syed Afzal, former Principal of CMH Lahore Medical College & Institute of Dentistry, and Col. Tiwana.

Dr Shoaib Nazir, Chairperson of the School of Management, along with faculty members and participants, actively engaged in meaningful discussions, contributing to the dialogue on fostering inclusive leadership. The event underscored the institution’s dedication to professional development and its mission to cultivate environments that champion inclusivity and diversity.

This workshop not only equipped participants with actionable insights into inclusive leadership but also provided a platform for networking and collaboration among leaders from various sectors. It reinforced the critical role of equity, diversity, and inclusion in today’s evolving leadership paradigms.
