Mr Kakar was warmly received by the Honorable Chairman of the Board of Governors, Mr Faisal Manzoor, and the Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Meritorious) Dr Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman. During a private meeting, the former prime minister was briefed about the university’s cutting-edge facilities, highly qualified faculty, and extensive collaborations with international institutions.

In the main auditorium, the Vice Chancellor delivered a heartfelt welcome address, expressing gratitude to Mr Kakar for his visit. He emphasized USKT’s vision of fostering international linkages, noting partnerships with over 150 universities worldwide. Dr Khaleeq Ur Rahman highlighted ongoing initiatives to enhance research, innovation, and teaching methodologies, ensuring that students are equipped with globally competitive skills.
