FUUAST, GCWUF to join hands for academic collaboration

Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences & Technology (FUUAST), Islamabad and Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) have set a resolution of understanding for academic collaboration.

The resolution sets in the purview of mutual understanding between Vice-Chancellor GCWUF Prof Dr Robina Farooq and Vice-Chancellor FUUAST Prof Dr Athar Ata to work together for fostering academic and research collaboration as a result of a recent meeting at GCWUF.

As academic partnerships create mutually beneficial relationships between students, faculty, education stakeholders and the universities, similarly this resolution between both Vice Chancellors to work together shall spark the interest of students as well as the faculty for the generation of scientific knowledge, creation of innovative career pathways, and to cultivate research and commercialization activities.

This resolution will also generate talent that is customized to the current and future needs of Pakistan creating a robust economic as well academic ecosystem for the community at large.

Moreover, it is being affirmed that the resolution is the first step towards the foundation of a comprehensive MoU between GCWUF and FUUAST at par with provisions of the respective acts which will be developed and signed after fulfilling the coral formalities containing pragmatic goals to achieve and initiate mutual academic partnership to enhance joint research projects as well as sharing competencies for the socio-economic development of Pakistan.
