The Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology on Friday held the 32nd meeting of the academic council.
The Fuuast Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rubina Mushtaq chaired the meeting. The decision of establishing new departments was approved while special discussions were held on the issues being faced by the students. The problems such as difficulties in getting admissions, improvements of division, and enrollment expansion were highlighted.
The meeting also discussed that vaccination of teachers and other staff would be completed soon. The participants of the meeting agreed that due to the COVID-19, the teaching process will continue as per the orders given by the Government of Sindh and the Higher Education Commission.
The participants were included Head of Science Faculty, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zahid, Acting Registrar Dr. Muhammad Sarem, Prof. Dr. Zarina Ali, Dr. Naeemuddin Arain, Dr. Abdul Majeed Khan, Dr. Shaista Ismat, Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, Dr. Muhammad Khalid, Dr. Manza Danish, Dr. Muhammad Ismail Musa and others.
