FUUAST Holds Convocation Ceremony

The Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science, and Technology (FUUAST) held its convocation ceremony at the Governor House, marking a momentous occasion for graduating students, faculty, and dignitaries. The event was attended by Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT) Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Vice-Chancellor Dr Zabita Khan Shinwari, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori, members of the Senate, faculty, students, and their families.

The ceremony was a celebration of academic achievement, with attendees extending their heartfelt congratulations to the graduating class. Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori, addressing the gathering, expressed his pride and joy, stating, “Today is a day of pride and joy as we celebrate the achievements of our students. Their hard work and dedication have brought them to this milestone, and we are confident they will contribute significantly to the nation’s progress.”

In his keynote address, Governor Tessori also highlighted the broader efforts being made to ensure Pakistan’s economic stability and growth. He emphasized that while the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) is focused on securing the nation’s borders, parallel efforts are underway to strengthen the economy.

“The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) was introduced to streamline investment opportunities and attract foreign investors to Pakistan,” he said. “Countries like Saudi Arabia, Turkey, China, and others are expected to enhance their investments in the near future, which will significantly boost our economic prospects.”

Governor Tessori further elaborated on the government’s commitment to ensuring that the benefits of these investments reach the common citizen. “Comprehensive efforts are being made to promote economic prosperity across the nation, ensuring that every Pakistani can benefit from these initiatives,” he added.

The convocation ceremony was not only a celebration of academic success but also a platform to underscore the importance of education in driving national development.
