LAHORE: The Government College University (GCU) classes have been shifted to online mode after the National Command and Control Center (NCOC) decided to close all educational institutions from March 15 to March 28.

The closure of all educational institutions is being termed as Spring Break amid the rise of coronavirus cases in seven districts of Punjab.

GCU Vice Chancellor Asghar Zaidi said that all classes of BA/BSc, MPhil/ PhD and Inter Part-I will shift to online teaching during the Ramadan month, starting 12 April 2021.

He further added, “Inter Part II will get a prep break for their final Board examinations from 12 April 2021.”
