GCU VC launches leadership initiative for students

LAHORE: The Government College University (GCU)’s Vice Chancellor Asghar Zaidi has introduced a new leadership initiative for students in which two students can closely observe daylong activities of the VC to get firsthand leadership experience.

Prof Asghar Zaidi said, “GCU provides an opportunity each week to two students to tag along with the VC for a day to have a first hand experience of work as the Head of their institution, to continue to inspiring students.”

“Today is the first day to engage students in the leadership of GCU,” the VC said.

Separately, Vice Chancellor Prof Zaidi donated his blood for children suffering from Thalassemia. A camp was organized by GCU Blood Donor Society in collaboration with Fatmid Foundation on Thursday, last week.
