ISTANBUL: The Government College University Lahore (GCU)’s Vice Chancellor Asghar Zaidi attended the international conference titled ‘Partnership for Peace’ in Istanbul on Tuesday.

He talked on the topic ‘Higher Education Needs of the Region in the CPEC Era’.

The Vice Chancellor also talked about GCU as one of the oldest universities of the region.

The VC said GCU initiated this collaboration among university students and faculty for growth and learning.

The two-day conference titled “Turkey, Pakistan, Central Asia: Partnership for Peace” will conclude on February 17 at Elite World İstanbul Hotel, Taksim, Istanbul. It was arranged by a Lahore-based NGO, the Lahore Center for Peace Research, in collaboration with its Turkish partner the Center for Diplomatic Affairs and Political Studies, Istanbul.
