The National University of Technology (NUTECH) hosted a special get-together for Afghan students at its Islamabad campus. The event was graced by prominent figures, including the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, and the Special Representative of the Prime Minister for Afghanistan, Mr. Asif Durrani. Afghan students from both NUTECH and NUCES Fast University attended the event as part of their zero semester program.

Chairman HEC Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are delighted to see the Afghan students joining Pakistani universities and becoming a part of the vibrant academic community. This event also shows NUTECH’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for international students.”
Mr. Asif Durrani, Special Representative of the Prime Minister for Afghanistan, highlighted the significance of this initiative, saying, “The presence of Afghan students at Pakistani universities is a positive step towards strengthening the educational and cultural ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan.”
The event underscored NUTECH’s dedication to promoting educational opportunities for international students and enhancing bilateral relations through academic collaboration.
