Punjab Minister for School Education Murad Raas wanted all teaching and non teaching staff of private and public schools to get vaccinated before August 22.

The provincial minister shared a video message on his twitter handle asking the teaching and non teaching staff of schools to get vaccinated as soon as possible and submit their vaccination certificate.

He also warned that if any of the staff member of any school found unvaccinated then there will be no choice other than to close the school. For this purpose we have established monitoring teams and they will conduct random visits in schools to check vaccination certificates after August 22, he said adding that disciplinary action can be taken against them.

The Schools Education Department issued a notification which ordered teachers, administration and other staff members, of all public and private schools falling under the department’s authority, to get vaccinated against coronavirus by August 21.
