Female Students Lodges (Girls’ Hostel) will be inaugurated at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi (KU) on Friday.

Sindh Minister for Health and Population Welfare Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho will inaugurate the state-of-the-art Female Students Lodges. Prof Dr M Iqbal Choudhary, Director of the ICCBS, and COMSTECH Coordinator General stated this while speaking in an official meeting regarding the inauguration of the girls hostel held at the ICCBS on Wednesday.

The ICCBS has established this modern style hostel facility in its premises to cater the housing needs of its female scholars, pursuing different higher learning programs in different institutes of the international center, including Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD) and H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry (HEJRIC), University of Karachi.

He said that the inaugural ceremony will be held at Prof Salimuz Zaman Siddiqui Auditorium – ICCBS.

The lady provincial health minister will deliver the inaugural lecture, he said, adding that Vice-Chancellor University of Karachi Prof Dr Nasira Khatoon, Prof Dr M Iqbal Choudhary, Director of ICCBS, Chairperson Dr Panjwani Memorial Trust Ms Nadira Panjwani, Chairman Husein Ebrahim Jamal Foundation Mr Aziz Latif Jamal, and Prof Dr Farzana Shaheen will express their views in the ceremony.
