To bring innovation in the education sector Google’s official country partner Tech Valley has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the City School. Under the agreement, Tech Valley has to upskill teachers and give exposure to students to universal tools of learning.

Google’s Tech Valley has tied up with several government schools and now City School (Southern Region) to enhance the skills of students and teachers of private schools.

Omar Farooq, head of Tech Valley, said that the agreement with the city school will allow students to see technology from childhood. Modern style of education should be encouraged so that we can adapt to the coming time.

Speaking at the agreement ceremony, City School’s Regional Director Safia Cassim said that technology is available in our school as we want to see modern technology with skills in our class under this agreement.

How to explore the digital world is the need of the hour, as various schools will be taken towards Google-style education, she added. We have to educate our kids to be safe while learning new concepts.

She said that the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the private school and Tech Valley aims to familiarize teachers and students with universal tools so that the standard given in other countries could also be given here.
