Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (JIP) Ameer, Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, has launched a free laptop scheme for graduates of the BanoQabil program, as reported by ARY News.

The announcement took place during his address to thousands of students taking the aptitude test for BanoQabil 4.0 in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.

Advocating for Equal Education Hafiz Naeemur Rehman called for a unified education system across Pakistan, stressing the need for one standard, one system, and one syllabus that ensures equality for the nation’s 250 million citizens.

Distinguished Guests at the Event The event saw the presence of several prominent figures, including:

  • Educationist Dr. Ishrat Hussain
  • Former cricketer Sadiq Muhammad
  • Veteran actors Behroz Sabzwari, Ayaz Khan, and Zaiba Shahnaz

Empowering Youth Through Skills With 60% of Pakistan’s population under 30 and 80% under 40, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman urged the youth to focus on emerging skills rather than considering emigration. He emphasized the potential of IT-based exports and hailed the BanoQabil program as a “game changer” for the country’s economy.

BanoQabil’s Success Over 48,000 students have graduated from the BanoQabil program in the past two years. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman highlighted JI’s efforts in creating job opportunities for these graduates.

Laptops for Graduates In the first phase, 10,000 laptops will be distributed to top-performing graduates of BanoQabil, helping them access global job markets and earn a living.

A Call to Action Hafiz Naeemur Rehman urged the youth and Karachi residents to stand up for their rights and reject corrupt leaders. “Pakistan belongs to its youth, not to generals, capitalists, or the elite,” he stated.

Address by JI Karachi Ameer JI Karachi Ameer Monem Zafar also addressed the gathering, urging the youth not to be influenced by negative propaganda about Pakistan’s future. He encouraged them to focus on serving the nation.

The initiative highlights JI’s commitment to empowering Pakistan’s youth through education, skill development, and job creation.
