A delegation of 44 students from Harvard Business School (HBS), representing nine different countries, met with General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan, at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi. The session served as a platform for an in-depth discussion on Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace, its steadfast efforts against terrorism, and its commitment to democratic values.

During the interactive session, General Munir emphasized the importance of education, critical thinking, and innovation in addressing contemporary security challenges. He underscored Pakistan’s vast potential and encouraged the students to form their own opinions based on firsthand experiences. Additionally, the COAS highlighted the dangers posed by misinformation and fake news in the digital age, advising the students to approach information with discernment and critical analysis.

The visiting Harvard students expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to engage in a meaningful dialogue with the Army Chief. This event follows a similar interaction between the COAS and students from various universities on 20 August, reflecting General Munir’s ongoing commitment to fostering and inspiring the youth of Pakistan.

The session provided the students with a deeper understanding of Pakistan’s strategic significance and its efforts in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
