ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission announced post-doctoral fellowships of international universities for Pakistan’s university teachers and its employees.

HEC will bear the cost of post-doctoral fellowships from top 200 universities (QS World Ranking Universities) of the world and for the post-doctoral fellowship, PhDs with five years of experience in teaching or administrative affairs is required to submit a letter of confirmation of admission to foreign universities.

Travel, accommodation and educational expenses for Post-Doctoral Fellowship will be paid by HEC.

PhD candidates can submit their applications on the website of HEC for a fee of Rs 1000. The last date for form submission is April 15.

HEC said, “Seventy percent slots are reserved for faculty members of public sector universities and institutes, private universities are given 15 percent slots and 15 percent of these slots are kept for public sector R&D organizations (recognized by Pakistan Council of Science and Technology).”
