Dr Ahmed also invited Somali officials to attend the upcoming Vice-Chancellors’ Forum of Universities in the Islamic World, a platform set to bring together over 150 vice-chancellors from OIC member states to promote collaboration in higher education.

Additionally, the HEC Chairman introduced the Somali delegation to Ilm-Bank, a virtual knowledge consortium designed to connect higher education institutions across OIC countries. This innovative platform facilitates cross-border education, training, and research, creating new opportunities for students and scholars from member states.
