ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) sought applications from fresh PhD holders in Pakistan to deploy unemployed PhDs in universities at a monthly salary of Rs 100,000.

HEC will post PhD candidates in provincial or federal universities who are eligible for appointments. The apex body for higher education directed candidates to register themselves on the HEC website by March 31. The age limit for appointment of PhD candidates is 40 years.

The HEC said, “Applications are invited for the Interim Placement of Fresh PhDs IIPPI programme in all areas of study/disciplines under the IPFP Phase-II(Bacth II). HEC launched this programme to create an opportunity for fresh PhDs to obtain academic experience and mentorship for one year in Higher Education Institutions.”
