Students of various universities protested in recent days for online exams and against the on-campus papers. Some of the protests turned violent where police arrested students and got their judicial remand today.

After the protests, a few universities have accepted the students’ demands and allowed the online papers.

The Punjab Higher Education Minister distanced himself from issuing any policy guidelines and argued that it is the mandate of HEC.
